The full renovation and redevelopment of the iconic former Dawsons Music Shop located in Warrington town centre.
This project transformed a tired and outdated commercial building into a vibrant mixed-use development comprising three commercial retail units to the ground floor, alongside 14 high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments across the upper floors and rear sections of the building.
The works involved a complete internal strip-out and extensive refurbishment programme to modernise and repurpose the existing structure while maintaining the character of the original building.

Due to the extensive structural alterations required, Alpo Developments Ltd implemented an alternative engineering solution by opting for a piled raft slab foundation system in place of traditional structural underpinning. This innovative approach generated significant cost savings for the client and played a key role in making the overall development financially successful.

A complete transformation of a dated residential property into a modern, high-specification home finished to exceptional standards throughout.
This extensive refurbishment project involved significant structural alterations, including the installation of structural steelwork to open up the entire rear of the property and create a spacious modern living environment. Due to the complexity of the existing structure, the steelwork was supported on reinforced concrete pad foundations installed beneath the original house foundations.
